Ailea wakes up with the plant to sneak southwards to see Paul and Mira, until Lowen tells her that she is being watched by the Keepers. The young Priest decides to put his status on the line, and he formulates a daring plan to get Ailea and her husband Rine, who in the Keeper's custody, out of the Keep in the middle of the night.
