CHAPTER 023 - ANIMAS

Our travelers join forces with the giants from the riverside village as they make their way to a city of their people. Animas was something which was not supposed to exist, according to what they all learned while growing up at the Keep, yet there it was. An assembly of elders gathered every year to discuss topics of importance, and a festive atmosphere greeted them upon their arrival.

The hosts were gracious, happy, and peaceful. Lowen is whisked off to meet with a master shaman named Dalaandeen, and he gains first hand experience as to the man's expertise. Upon his return he learns learn of the marriage of Ssra and Mudge, and the following morning they all experience what it means to become 'one with the shroom'.

Elze and her army are still on the North River road, and the drugs which Mabbi added to their drinks take their toll. They cut their way down to the river after they find a ford, and once they are across they find giant trees have been felled across the South River road.
