FIOTM 18 - Boondocking at Walnut Canyon & popping into the Wigwam Motel

We were looking for a place to boondock just outside of Flagstaff before sunset and finally found a spot at the forest preserve called Walnut Canyon just in time!

We ventured off the highway and found ourselves in Holbrook, AZ on Route 66 and came across this treasure of a place called Wigwam Motel.

A fun place to experience a night sleeping in a Teepee and if you are a car lover you’d enjoy checking out the antique cars intrinsically positioned amongst the petrified wood.
