Be aloof, save the world. Moment 62

One of the biggest personal dangers to one’s creativity and independence is getting caught up in groupthink. That’s why, as a scientist I have always advised my students to Be Aloof. As it turns out, that is also crucial advice for society in general, and is one of multiple pieces of prescriptive advice for lowering the chance of mass hysterias like we experienced in 2020.
