The violence and rioting in the streets that we have seen in recent years has more in common with the ideas that fomented the French Revolution than the American Revolution.

Yet the spirit of the bloody French Revolution is ascendant today, particularly among elites in our educational and media institutions—and they are churning out a generation of militant radicals in their image. They could not be further from the truths this nation was built upon.
