Jesus Christ promised to show himself to those who obey him while the world would not see him, HE DOES!
John 14:18-21 "I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you. Before long, the world will not see me anymore, but you will see me. Because I live, you also will live. On that day you will realize that I am in my Father, and you are in me, and I am in you. Whoever has my commands and keeps them is the one who loves me. The one who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I too will love them and show myself to them.”

He said he'd be Omnipresent and some would not taste death before they see him coming in his kingdom. Luke 17:24 " For the Son of Man in his day will be like the lightning, which flashes and lights up the sky from one end to the other." Matthew 16:28 “Truly I tell you, some who are standing here will not taste death before they see the Son of Man coming in his kingdom.”

Jesus also said that those who SEE him and believe in him shall have eternal life and he will raise us on the last day.
