In our study, we are told not to be hearers only but to be "doers of the word". Many professing Christians are not doers because they do not have a heart of repentance and their profession rings hollow. Jesus laid down His life to save us from eternal damnation. Why would we not respond with grateful hearts ready to DO what He has told us to do?
