Raccoons Cannot Get Down

We have a family of raccoons that frequent our back porch. 5 babies and mom. 3 of the young raccoons decided to climb the wall and hang onto old cable lines near the roof. They couldn't get down so we put a ladder underneath them... they came down after a while.
