“Possibly the best song off the album in my opinion. Perhaps because it’s still pretty new to my ears; “Perfect Son” was the latest addition to, and also the last one to be written for, the album. I was under pressure making the last vocals for this one, but it came out as what I think is my best vocal performance of the album as well. “Perfect Son” is a song about not meeting the expectations on you that is set up by both yourself and others. Being someone that likes having a touch of ‘meta’ in my songs, “Perfect Son” vaguely speaks about the writing process of another track on this album.” - Johannes, singer.
