There are 4 words we need to look at, Submit, resist, flee, and draw.

The first three are a process or a chain of events, it begins with submit yourself to God.

Submit definition = accept or yield to a superior force or to the authority or will of another person: in this case we surrender to Gods will.

Resist definition = withstand the action or effect: The thought or temptation.

A revengeful, sexual, prideful thought, reject it do not dwell on it?

Every though leads to an emotion, anger leads to high blood pressure and revenge, your body reacts the demon feels it and gets satisfaction?

Same thing with sexual thoughts, your body reacts the demon feels it and gets satisfaction?

Flee definition = run away from a place or situation of danger:

Notice that word danger, why would the demonic being be in danger? Because your prayer could send him where he doesn’t want to go?

Why would a demonic being flee, time; His time is running out and he is not going to waste any of it, you refuse to play along he’s gone?

How does a thief operate in a mall parking lot, he doesn’t start smashing windows that would draw attention. no, He goes from car to car checking doors until He finds one unlocked? Same thing with demons.

Submit, resist, he will flee, this action will draw you closer to God. Because you’re as close to god as you want to be?
