The Fountains of Alderwood-1

I went to the local outdoor mall last week, and they have three beautiful fountains there. What they have in common is the use of "columnar basalt" elements. The rock is found in the hills of Eastern Washington, and is solidified volcanic magma, that forms six-sided columns when the magma cools. This one uses "laminar flow"-the water stays in a coherent arch and does not spray.
