Rob Manfred Walks Back SOME Coof Era Rules & Black on Asian Hate Crime Live on ESPN

Rob Manfred, to celebrate taking away the jobs of a lot of hard working Georgians by moving the All-Star Game, answered some questions about the failures of a lot of the stupid rule changes that have fundamentally ruined Major League Baseball over the past couple years. Conceding that double-headers at 7-Innings is stupid and the idiotic immediate 2nd Base Runner in Extra Innings is something thought up by someone with Velcro Cleats. But he also wants to outlaw defensive shifts. Instead of incentivizing better hitting strategies, just let morons continue to hit right into the shift and change the game by restricting the strategic aspect of the game. Hope that tie doubles as a bib you drooling idiot.

Stephen A. Smith, ESPN's resident race baiter really had a Galaxy Brain take on the surging popularity of Los Angeles Angels Two-Way Sensation, Shohei Ohtani. According the the nincompoop who prefecaces everything with his racial makeup, Ohtani cannot be the face of the league because he can't speak English without the use of a Translator. Someone tell Ichiro that him being in Seattle for all those years had zero impact on the game and everyone just pretended to love him. k, thx.

To be fair though, he did apologize for grabbing headlines by saying dumb stuff for attention, by playing the victim and giving a shockingly unapologetic apology on "First Take". Try a second next time you jackass.
