American Pekin Duck

The American Pekin are a yellow bill and creamy white plumage, with orange shanks and toes. The duck have an upright carriagea and a peculiarly upturned rump. Their plumage is mostly white sometimes with a yellowish tinge. This is more obvious with ducks that have been reared indoors and not exposed to sunlight. The American Pekin is an America breed of domestic duck, raised primarily for meat. It is a mallard derived from birds brought to to the United States from China in the nineteenth century, and is now bred in many parts of the world. The Scientific name Ana's platyrhynchos domesticus.
