Part Five: Helping A Baby Chick Hatch

Little chick was on day 20 of incubation when her broody mother crushed her eggshell on her as she was unzipping. She was at risk of being shrimp wrapped in her egg so I had helped her out. Here she is the next morning. All dry and walking fine. She may not have made it if I hadn't of intervened. It is very risky thing to do many times, however, sometimes it's the chicks only hope.
