058 Operation CHAOS More Proof, Worldview Series

CAOS – book by Tom O'Neal - 20 years of research and discoveries about the Manson Murders. Entertainment reporter turned investigative reporter, worked for US Magazine and was syndicated to all the significant rags, was assigned to cover the 30th anniversary of the Tate-Labianca Manson Family Murders, became fascinated with the parts that didn't add up. He read Helter Skelter in 1999; I read it in 1976. Oddly enough, I said then that the book and the Vincent Bugliosi narrative never added up for me. Charles Manson's sudden transition from petty criminal to sex slave guru never added up. It all got parked in my mind as more to come later. And of course, a lot more has come to light, like Manson's ties to the CIA mind control master (MKUltra) head, Dr. Sidney Gottlieb. There was only one degree of separation between Manson and Gottlieb, and that was through the MKUltra Psychiatrist who ran the San Francisco Free Clinic. He also set up a “laboratory” to study the “Flower Children of Haight-Ashbury” BEFORE there were Hippies in Haight -Ashbury. And stranger than strange, Manson's Parole Officer was a Graduate Student and part of the apparatus of “Laboratory” that was disguised as a “hippy crash pad” where they ran drug experiments on a host of hippies. Mason's family were all “clients” of the Free Clinic, and the Hippy Pad Lab was just around the corner.
