Blinken vows to support journalists – critics raise Assange case

US Secretary of State Antony Blinken has drawn a wave of criticism, after pledging support for independent journalists 'all around the world' and pointing to Iranian-American journalist Masih Alinejad, who claimed she was the target of a kidnap plot by Iran's intelligence agency. Many, however, have accused the US of double standards.
