Honestly, just save yourself the humiliation of a grandiose expression of love; especially if you lack the self awareness that you aren't as close to your significant other as you think. You really have to be a special type of stupid to plan all the stuff out to get the camera crew and the baseball team on your side to set up a public engagement at a Worcester Red Sox game, only to be turned down in hilarious fashion.

Perhaps buddy dodged a bullet, that Dr. Dre might wish to have land in the skull of his thick headed ex-wife. He will have to pay her until either one of them die, an excess of $350,000 per MONTH, a little better than $3.5 Million per year. But she earned it though, so slay queen... by crushing things with your engorged forehead.
