How to reinforce your RC body - Mesh tape and shoe goo

I do a lot of bashing and thought it would be a good idea to reinforce my RC body. This is the Maxx with the shoe goo. I have already put T-rex tape on my X-Maxx and Gorilla tape on my Rustler 4x4.
