Absolute Assurance

How many things can you absolutely depend upon? Things that will never let you down? Everything breaks down over time and everything gets old and out of date. Things change sometimes for the better sometimes for the worse. Even the universe which seems pretty constant is changing and one day will be rolled up like a scroll by God.

What about people? People leave us all the time. They die or they change…. and you never know really when it will happen. Even the best of loyal friends and family and spouses will leave you eventually. Either through death or change. But there is one who will never die or never change. He will never leave or go away. He is the one constant of the universe.
