In the news we covered a homeless camp converted into tiny homes, Kevin Smith’s He-Man, and the FBI’s potential instigation of the Governor Whitmer kidnapping plot. In cool stuff we saw a camper-trailer that’s a perfect companion to a VW bug, while our “Tool of the Week” used a racial slur to make a point at a city council meeting. In sports the American Olympians failed to medal on the first day while trans weightlifter Laurel Hubbard is poised to dominate (unsurprisingly) on August 2nd. Finally this week in His Story we learned about the Marquis deLafayette’s spreading of freedom to his countrymen after fighting in the American revolution, Jimmy Hoffa’s disappearance, and Iraq’s invasion of Kuwait.
