Why God hates sin so much

God hates sin! He is holy and He wil not tolerate sin.
God does hate sin. The Bible says, “For I, the Lord, love justice; I hate robbery and iniquity” (Isaiah 61:8). God doesn’t take sin lightly, and neither should we.

But have you ever asked yourself why God hates sin so much? One important reason is because He loves us – and since He loves us, He hates what sin does to us. Sin is like a deadly cancer that hurts and eventually destroys us. It also cuts us off from God, and leads to conflict with other people. Not one good thing comes from sin–not one. This is why the Bible says that “the wages of sin is death” (Romans 6:23). Because God loves us, He hates to see what sin does to us.

And God hates what sin has done to you also, because He loves you.
