6-8309 Mikado #4501 FARR

Lionel 6-8309 Famous American Railroad Series from 1983, Mikado Steam Locomotive #4501 and Tender. Comes with electronic whistle, mighty sound of steam, puffing smoke, headlight, magnetraction and pulmore motor with forward, neutral and reverse. These FARR locomotives had low production numbers and are quite collectible. The whistle sound on these wasn't spectacular but they were excellent pullers. As you watch the video the Mikado will pass another Lionel Southern, a GP9 and also a 1924 #254 O gauge with passenger cars. If you think the train is traveling to fast, click on settings in the video and change speed from normal to .75, it makes quite a difference.
