Spying a nest in a Chickasaw Plum Part 5

I had to attempt a 2nd take, a 2nd filming to verify that I got a full view of the nest. 😟😔... and that there was, indeed, only one egg left. I know where I live, birds have predators, but I wondered which ones would climb up a tree. Or which birds would steal eggs. Could a squirrel do that?

I am not a "David Attenborough"; I'm not knowledgeable in such things.
