Al Capone Spaghetti!
How to make Al Capone Spaghetti!
Ingredients below, makes 2 servings.
1 tbsp vegetable oil
1 tsp salt
1/4 to 1/2 lb of spaghetti
1/2 cup of parsley leaves
1/2 cup of walnut pieces
3 cloves of garlic
1 cup of extra virgin olive oil
1/2 cup of grated or shredded Parmesan cheese
1/4 to 1/2 cup of diced or sliced tomato for garnish
Salt and freshly ground pepper (to taste, for sauce)
Crushed red pepper (optional)
Serve with garlic bread.
Steps
1. Heat water, vegetable oil, 1 tsp salt to a boil, add spaghetti, cook al dente per instructions.
2. Heat olive oil on low heat, adding in crushed garlic and crushed walnuts. Warm on low for 3-4 minutes, being careful not to overheat.
3. Add in parsley and drained spaghetti. Leave on low for another 1-2 minutes.
4. Mix well, serve on plate with Parmesan, tomato garnish, and garlic bread. Add salt and fresh ground black pepper to taste. Add optional crushed red pepper.
