Illinois Population Decline...

87 out of 102 counties in Illinois declined in population. However, the overall population didn't go down as much as was estimated in 2019. Counties with higher populations went up while counties with lower populations went down. When you consider the majority of the state overall population is in a 6 county area in northeastern Illinois and with other counties nearby also growing, the census info is not surprising at all...
