Cumbres & Toltec Extra 487 & Train 216 east at Los Pinos

From one of my favorite spots, Cathedral Rocks, those rocks high up on the ridge, east of Los Pinos, I caught Work Extra 487 and regular train 216 heading to Osier. It was oddly calm up there this day. It is often quite windy, to the point of trying to tip over my camera & tripod. My camera to the trains is from 1 mile, to more than two. Look at the engine for a visual of the whistle rope being pulled, to when it is heard.
