Kabul not in 'imminent threat' environment: Pentagon

Pentagon spokesperson John Kirby on Friday said Kabul was not in an "imminent threat environment" a day after Washington announced plans to send announced plans to send 3,000 additional troops to help evacuate U.S. Embassy staff as the Taliban seize more Afghan cities.
