One of my "go-to" watches on Rumble (channel "Something to Think About"), suggested that we treat the folks pouring across the southern border, as though they were an "invading army."

Is that reasonable? In my view IT IS NOT.

Why not? Because LIKE IT OR NOT, the U. S. government is INVITING THESE FOLKS IN.

Whether or not their entry is legal, the messaging from the folks in charge is both CLEAR, and MATTERS.
