Across the country, parents are concerned about Critical Race Theory.
But what is Critical Race Theory, exactly?
CRT is a way of looking at the world that puts racial identity at the center of our identity and society.
It assumes that America is systemically racist even in 2021 and that the solution to racism is to overturn or radically transform the American system and way of life.
These ideas divide students of different racial backgrounds, and enlist children in a radical attempt to remake America.
CRT has also seeped into institutions beyond education, like government, corporations, and media.
The fight to stop CRT will not be a short one. CRT is “systemic.”
But CRT is very unpopular with most Americans, including with independent voters.
We must reject CRT, and return to E Pluribus Unum,—"out of many, one”—a motto that binds all Americans together.
