A Rare Beach Day For Me

Because of multiple medical issues I don’t get to the beach much but I just had this overwhelming desire on this day to go for a dunk.

With so much uncertainty - not just with my body on any given day but in this world - sometimes you just have to say “take me to the beach”! For me, in the middle of the summer, that means a break in the oppressive heat. God blessed us with that today and I got my first dunk in the ocean in many years.

You see I live with an ostomy and that has its own challenges but I had to be confident enough that it was doable and if you know anyone that struggles as well, let them know. IT IS! Tell them just to do it - don’t wait because tomorrow isn’t promised.
