Not counting the injured, approximately 2,500 American soldiers and 66,000 Afghan soldiers and police have died in battle fighting back against the #Taliban, Al-Qaeda, and other terrorist entities in Afghanistan.
How will the military now get #Americans home safely who are spread out across #Afghanistan behind enemy line?! The #Taliban have formed a perimeter around the entire Hamid Karzai International Airport in #Kabul to prevent anyone from reaching the airport.
It is incredible that after #President #Biden abandoned the Afghan military by removing America's intelligence infrastructure and close air support as well as all American military personnel, the Commander-in-Chief then decided it was time to rescue American embassy personnel and the 11,000 Americans who still remain in Afghanistan tonight as well as thousands of Afghans who fought or worked to support U.S. efforts in that country over the last two (2) decades.
