As the situation spirals further out of control in Afghanistan, and particularly Kabul, the Biden administration and his senior officials are having an increasingly difficult time addressing how they plan to evacuate the 10-15k Americans and countless Afghan partners that remain in country. The reason, they created such a bad situation that without a reversal in some policies, they may not be able to. Still, some in the administration are saying they trust the Taliban to hold up their end of the bargain, which is categorically absurd. Finally, Drew let’s Joe Biden know that he just took a generation of warfighters that were already struggling with PTSD and poured gas on the fire.
