The Central Intelligence Agency supplied portable Stinger heat sinking Anti Aircraft missiles to the Mujahideen fighting Soviet forces in Afghanistan during Operation Cyclone, the Soviet war in Afghanistan in the 1980s.
That war taught us valuable lessons. Yet we ignored it. Now we are here today.
