A Picture of Words

You may have heard that a picture is worth 1,000 words. This is a picture made of 18,658 eight words!

This portrait of Jesus praying in the garden of Gethsemane, was created using only the words from the Gospel of John in the King James Version. Each letter is printed in varying degrees of thickness, giving it shadow and texture. Looking at the picture through a magnifying glass allows you to read the text from the gospel.

This portrait is now on display at the Museum of the English Bible.
