I like Pancit

In Thrasher skateboarding magazine there used to be a section called “chef, boy am I hungry”. Do you remember that? It had recipes for Skaters. Skateboarding does make you hungry and skaters gotta eat. I just like to eat. Food is good and shows the culture of the people. Food and music. Family and Friends.

Ingredients:
1-2 bags of Pancit Bihon rice noodles
1 medium onion (diced)
1 bulb garlic (diced)
2-3 Celery sticks (chopped to 1/2 inch pieces)
2 carrots (sliced 2 inch slivers) or bag of shredded carrots makes it easier
1/2 of a small cabbage (sliced to 2 inch strips)
1-2 lbs of shrimp peeled and deveined makes it easier (chopped cooked chicken or pork chop can substitute)
2 cups chicken broth (no MSG)
Black pepper to taste
Soy sauce to taste
Garlic powder to taste

Hope it comes out edible if you try cooking this. Once you have it down this is a quick 30-40 minute meal to cook. Taste great with lemon and soy sauce sprinkled on your serving before eating. If you can get calamansi that is the best. Calamansi is the Filipino lime. Try topping with chopped fresh green onions to make if fancy. :)
