Questions are as follows:

How could the Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin say the U.S. does not have the capability to go into parts of Afghanistan outside of the Taliban perimeter surrounding the Kabul airport in order to rescue Americans?!
What kind of message does this send to America's enemies? Since when does the greatest military might in the world not have what it takes to rescue Americans trapped behind enemy lines?

We had 2,500 troops in Afghanistan, now we have 7,000 troops in the country. What are these troops accomplishing outside the airport? Surely they are not all at the airport?

Why give up Bagram Air Base? And why would the Commander-in-Chief leave black hawk helicopters, drones, missiles, and humvees, etc., in Afghanistan knowing that they would certainly fall into enemy hands, i.e., the Taliban, Iran, ISIS, China, and Russia?

We have left troops in countries around the globe including South Korea, Japan, Germany, etc., in order to maintain stability, power, and prestige ... why not leave a 2,500 troop presence at Bagram Air Base to secure that military outpost and the United States embassy?
