Successive US Presidents claimed ‘victory’ in Afghanistan ... Who's gonna tell them?

It only took the Taliban just over a month to retake the capital of Afghanistan and, by extension, the entire country.

But, despite the apparent disaster that the White House has left behind, successive US presidents were keen to underline the fact that they’d ‘liberated’ the Afghan people.

The speeches haven’t aged well, have they?
