8-24-21 BOS Agenda 2.0 General Public Comment

The people of Butte County, CA address their Board of Supervisors on a variety of topics, including ending the local public health emergency, like many counties in CA and entire other states have already done, as well as getting long-awaited Camp Fire victim compensation placed on the Agendas. When will the board finally act upon the needs and desires of their constituents? Where is representation and WHERE is all the money going???? “Board” is indeed a great word to describe them, because it is just like speaking to a piece of wood, or five pieces of wood. Better yet, we could call them the “Brick Wall of Supervisors”, or, even more apropos: “The Iron Curtain of Supervisors”. By the way, have you ever thought about how the word “Supervisor” is hardly an appropriate term, either? Other states use the more appropriate term “county commissioners”. Only in California would you give an “Underminer” or “Saboteur” the title of “Supervisor”. 🙄🙄🙄🤥🤥🤥😓😓😓👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼😡🤬😡
