Why did I take this UFO so close

In different countries there are many public initiative organizations and enthusiasts involved in the registration and analysis of UFO phenomena.
From a scientific point of view, there is still not confirmed evidence that UFOs are in any way connected with alien life, and the first official contact is still the lot of science fiction and the future. While only a small part of scientists are supporters of the alien origin of the observed UFOs, the official scientific community of the world has an extensive program of searching for extraterrestrial intelligence SETI. The program assumes the possibility of detecting the activity of extraterrestrial intelligence in the framework of research, with the help of technical means, potential manifestations of this activity in near and deep space. With the development of computer technologies and the Internet, the program began to carry out distributed information processing on thousands of simple user computers. In popular culture, UFOs most often mean an unidentified flying object, the appearance of which is associated with the visit of intelligent beings to Earth. Many people, including officials and scientists, are skeptical about the possibility of these visits and are convinced that UFOs are an anomalous natural or aerospace phenomenon. In contrast, some former officials, military personnel and astronauts, after leaving the service, become public adherents of the alien origin of UFOs.
