A US Embassy alert advised Americans not to travel to the airport in Kabul. It is estimated that 1,500 American citizens remain in Afghanistan and secretary of state Blinken blames them for waiting to evacuate. Mr. President, get our citizens home NOW! Forget your social agenda and woke politics and bring home the Americans that you have put in danger.
Without enough votes to pass Bernie Sanders' over the top spending bill, Speaker Pelosi used a questionable procedure to pass the framework of the $3.5 trillion bill. Know as “self-executing rule” or “deem and pass,” the constitutionality of the maneuver is debated. Now it will go through the reconciliation process and only needs a simple majority in the Senate.
The House also passed HR4, the John Lewis voting rights act, an attempt to federalize election law.
