Genderless Bathrooms? - Episode 086

I probably shouldn’t be hiking already, but….

Recently, meeting with a client, I had the request to make the restrooms genderless. The issue of gendered bathrooms is one that many people have strong opinions, and one where architects play a key role in designing the public restroom experience for us all. Are there ways to design past the controversy and create restrooms that help all feel comfortable and safe?
