Autism Stem Cell Treatment with Intrathecal + IV + Nebulized stem cells at Dream Body Clinic

Hey this is Josh with Dream Body clinic. Today you're going to see a patient with autism. He is six years old came here all the way from Saudi Arabia with his dad, it was a long flight. They looked into a lot of different clinics and what they told me that really stuck out was our nebulized treatment. Not a lot of other clinics are doing this. Now, we do a combination of IV, nebulized and intrathecal stem cell sessions.
The IV is to get the stem cells through the whole system. They target inflammation. Inflammation is always a big part of autism and also the gut health. There's a huge gut health to brain connection. We want to target that. That's why we do the IV. Then the nebulized, whichwe might be one of the only clinics doing this, basically we are nebulizing these stem cells. You put the mask on and by breathing them in this gets them into the mucus membrane, which allows them to go to the brain much more directly. The problem with the IV is it goes to the heart and lungs and the majority get trapped there. You're not getting a lot up to the brain. With the nebulized we are getting a vast majority. We usually do 25 million nebulized stem cells.
They also get to the lungs. That works really well. Then we added the intrathecal treatment. This is where we go into the spinal fluid. This patient opted to have 50 million stem cells into the spinal fluid. It was no problem. Typically, we do 25 million but we decided to be a bit more aggressive with this, which is a perfectly safe dose. It's just two milliliters of fluid. We go into the operating room and put the child under anesthesia, as you'll see here with Dr. Torres our anesthesiologists, and we're then able to put the intrathecal injection with 50 million stem cells which go straight to the brain.
This is a really good way to treat autism. It's not a cure. They don't really have it. We just want to get them to a position to be best able to adapt the society and integrate back in.
