TODAY is National Dog Day, celebrating pet dogs, rescue dogs, working dogs and all the dogs that love, protect and guide us humans.

Above is Nala, an Alaskan Malamute.
Owner Chris Dawson of Keighley tells us: "I suffered with PTSD and sometimes even leaving my home can be a challenge.
Nala not only helps me to overcome that but she also brings a smile to the faces of everyone she meets."
