Handling big boat wake on the Jonny bass 100

I picked up a little 36lb thrust minn kota for 50.00 on fb market and i wanted to give it a test run, it pushed the jonny bass at about 2.5 mph .. it was a super calm day .. except for the boat wake of course.. this is on the icw in the Wilmington area and we did catch some flatties.. but season is closed so they went back in to grow some more.
