Channidae or cork is a family of fish that can be found in Africa and Asia . Fish in this family are predatory fishthat are characterizedby long dorsal fins , large mouths, and bright teeth. They can breathe air through their gills, so they can migrate by land. They have branchial organsthat grow as they get older. The two current genera of Channidae are Channa in Asia and Parachanna in Africa.
