Jake Paul, Tyron Woodley Look For a Payday, Not to Help Boxing | WWE Doesn't Want Wrestlers

If you are apart of the small minority of people who think that Jake Paul and other YouTubers getting into the Boxing game is helping the sport, I'd like to know what helmet you find most comfortable for all day use. It's only a quick payday off the back of an established fanbase and nothing more. Tyron Woodley is the next aging star to cash out his remaining credibility this Sunday and if he flattens Paul, then that's that industry dead in the water. But maybe it's the start, or rather, reemergence of the Freakshow/Sideshow aspect of Boxing, like the "Celebrity Boxing" of the late 90's that was hot for a minute. Boxing is on it's way back, but this ain't boxing; don't pretend it is either.

Just like the YouTuber Boxing schtick, WWE isn't Professional Wrestling. It's Sports Entertainment, plain and simple. Expecting anything different is foolish, especially with the new mandate to stop scouting and signing Independent Talent (like Hulk Hogan and Stone Cold Steve Austin from back in the day, they weren't pilfered from Pro Wrestling Companies right?). Clearly, it's a reversion back to the doldrums of the New Generation and Late 00's eras of goofy gimmicks and teaching Footballers to work.

It sucked then, it will suck now, it will suck forever.
