Several days ago a subscriber of #NoseyHeauxLiveReturn sent us this story regarding a minor African American girl allegedly being sexual assaulted by her Caucasian adoptive parents. After an outcry from public, the Riverside Sheriff's Office in Palm Desert, CA and the Gilbert, AZ Police Department stated they completed an investigation and the allegations were found not credible. However, the police departments didn't address the rape allegations in their statements. Citizens continued calling the authorities, tagging news organizations, and anyone that could find out what happened to Molly, the #CostcoGirl. Days passed; however today Angelica Maria Mendez, the witness and 4 months pregnant, was arrested by the Riverside Sheriff's Office and charged her with 2 misdemeanors for false statement. She was released and shared story that she was contacted by the police stating they were going to protect her. She stated that she was thrown against the vehicle by the police, handcuffed and carted off to jail. Mendez stated that the police wanted her to recant her statement and she refused. #NoseyHeauxLiveReturn went live on YouTube and it was discovered by her subscribers that Mendez was in custody. People began to flood the police department with calls and later she was released and shared her story on a live with Nosey. Mendez later posted on social media.
