Manipulating Your Mind using Data in Press Conferences

In this snippet of a press conference by the SA CHO, we hear her encouraging people to go out and take the Astra Zeneca Covid jab.

She states that the chance of having an adverse reaction to the Astra Zeneca shot compared to having Covid (because of the higher risk of catching the Delta strain) is minuscule.

First she is comparing risk of HAVING the Delta strain as opposed to the risks posed of DYING from the Delta strain.

Why are we not comparing the risk of having an adverse event - like dying or serious injury - from having the jab to dying from Covid?

Why aren’t we comparing the risks of catching Covid and dying between break through cases in the vaccinated that results in death against risk of serious Covid disease or death in the unvaccinated with natural immunity?
