Epiphyllum oxypetalum, also known by its scientific name, is nicknamed the "Queen of the Night" in English. Kadupul flower is known to the Japanese as the "Princess of the Moon". This flower is a rare dense flower. This is because the plant does not flower regularly. It take a long time to bloom but fade overnight. The flowers bloom only at night.
