A day of shame, a day of change -- a tribute to the heroes, a call for patriots to act

I composed the lyrics for the tune of "Going home", while on vacation in Glacier National Park, when I didn't have any connection to communicate others how I felt at this very solemn and sorrowful time for our nation as we saw the disgraceful surrender in Afghanistan, and the lasting impact on America.
Neither my voice nor singing skill does justice to the song. I hope some real musical talent would pick it up and sing it at the next rally for freedom
